50 ml Boutique

Renovation of a shop and interior design coherent with its brand image

SHARE PROJECT

New shop windows, emphasise the high ceilings, street frontage and abundance of natural light from the exterior.

Originally a Hairdressing salon from the 1970s, this 35m2 space was transformed into the first physical store for 50 ml boutique perfumery.

The highlight of the space is a large commissioned artwork by Australian Botanical Artist Nastia Gladuschenko. It showcases the floral and plant based ingredients found in perfumes gaining curiosity and interest from passers by.

A curated and refined material palette was adopted in response to the small size of the space and the quantity of products on display. Existing marble flooring was retained and complimented by softly hued joinery running the entire length of the store. Above the joinery a marron colour, envelopes the walls and ceiling, providing depth and mood when paired with the brass lighting below.
