50ml Boutique Two
Originally an Italian Barbers Shop from the 1980s, this compact and quaint 35m2 interior was transformed into the first physical store for online perfume retailer www.50-ml.com.
A custom display table for the window is finished with a textured clay paint, showcasing the products on top and carefully selected floral arrangements.
Towards the back of the store, an integrated cleansing niche provides the opportunity to try water activated products. Set into the joinery, the crisp white corian basin is highlighted by the 3d tiles above.
Simplified forms and a restricted material palette were adopted in response to the small size of the space and the quantity of products and colours on display.
Existing marble flooring was complimented with the addition of softly hued shelving running the entire length of the store. A combination chosen for inducing a calm and relaxed shopper experience.
A collaboration with Australian Botanical Artist, Nastia Gladuschenko showcases the new graphic identity for 50ml. Earthy silhouettes are seen both in the large mural backdrop to the store and the delicately designed shopper bags. Each work commissioned as a reminder to the plant and floral based ingredients in perfume.
