What data we collect
Data you send us voluntarily, such as your name, email address and the content of your message when you write to us or use the contact form.
Technical data processed automatically when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, handled by our hosting provider for security and to deliver the site.
With your consent, usage data collected through Google Analytics 4, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, which we use to understand and improve the site.
Why we use it and on what basis
To reply to your enquiries and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal (steps taken at your request before a contract, art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To keep the site secure and working properly (legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To measure how the site is used through analytics, only if you give your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code). You can decline in the cookie banner at any time.
To meet legal obligations (art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to reply and, if a project starts, for the duration of the relationship and the periods required by law. Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within 24 months.
Who receives your data
Providers that help us run the site and our communications, such as website hosting (Framer), email services and, if you consent to analytics, Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited). They act as data processors on our behalf. We do not sell your data.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing, by writing to info@interiorstories.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
